HOVERSTAND® clear acrylic display stands are manufactured in our UK workshop.

3R W DESIGN LTD is registered at Companies House under company number 08928010..

2. Our Products

We manufacture and sell clear acrylic display stands, shelf risers, plinths and related display products in a range of standard and bespoke sizes.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, dimensions, prices, material thicknesses and maximum-load information shown on our website are accurate.

Because our products are manufactured items, small variations may occasionally occur. Where a manufacturing tolerance applies, this will be stated in the relevant product information or bespoke quotation.

Colours, reflections and transparency may also appear slightly different depending on the customer's screen, lighting conditions and surroundings.

3. Dimensions, Thickness and Maximum Load

Please check the product dimensions, acrylic thickness and stated maximum load carefully before ordering.

Unless otherwise stated, dimensions are shown as:

Width × Depth × Height

Maximum-load figures assume appropriate use of the stand and a reasonably even distribution of weight.

Customers are responsible for choosing a stand suitable for the dimensions, weight, balance and intended use of the item being displayed.

If you are unsure which size or thickness is suitable, please contact us before ordering.

4. Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).

The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order, together with any applicable delivery charges displayed before completion of the purchase.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are correct. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before manufacture or dispatch and give you the option to:

  • proceed at the correct price; or
  • cancel the affected item or order and receive a full refund.

5. Placing an Order

By placing an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the selected goods.

You will receive an order confirmation after your order has been received.

We reserve the right to contact you if:

  • a product is unavailable;
  • information supplied with the order is incomplete;
  • there is an obvious pricing or specification error;
  • the requested product cannot reasonably be manufactured;
  • we are unable to deliver to the supplied address.

If we are unable to fulfil an order for which payment has already been received, we will refund the relevant amount.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.

Production or order processing will normally begin once payment has been successfully received.

Where payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, 3R W DESIGN LTD does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details.

7. Standard Products

Standard-size HOVERSTAND® products are manufactured, prepared and dispatched within the times stated on our website.

Current dispatch times, delivery methods and charges are shown on our Shipping & Returns Policy page.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.

8. Bespoke and Custom-Made Products

We also manufacture acrylic display stands to dimensions requested by individual customers.

Before placing a bespoke order, please check carefully:

  • width;
  • depth;
  • height;
  • material thickness;
  • quantity;
  • intended use;
  • approximate weight of the item to be displayed.

Where applicable, we may provide a quotation, drawing or written specification based on the information supplied by the customer.

The customer is responsible for checking and approving the dimensions and specifications before manufacture begins.

Normal manufacturing tolerances may apply to bent acrylic products. Any relevant tolerance will be stated on our bespoke-products page, quotation or correspondence.

Cancellation and returns of bespoke products

The normal statutory right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind does not generally apply to goods that are made to a customer's specifications or are clearly personalised.

A HOVERSTAND® manufactured specifically to dimensions requested or approved by an individual customer will therefore normally not be returnable simply because the customer changes their mind, ordered the wrong dimensions or no longer requires it.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a bespoke product is:

  • faulty;
  • damaged;
  • not as described; or
  • materially different from the specification agreed with us.

If you wish to cancel a bespoke order before manufacture has started, please contact us immediately. If production has not yet begun, we will consider whether cancellation is still possible.

9. Cancellation Rights for Standard Products

For most standard products purchased online, UK consumers have a statutory right to cancel the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

If you wish to cancel, please contact us clearly stating that you wish to cancel your order.

After notifying us of cancellation, the goods should normally be returned within 14 days.

The statutory 14-day cancellation period for qualifying distance purchases is separate from our own additional 30-day returns policy.

10. Our Additional 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer customers a 30-day change-of-mind returns period for eligible standard products.

To use this additional returns policy, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

For a return under our additional 30-day policy:

  • the product must be in brand-new, resaleable condition;
  • the original protective film must remain intact;
  • the product must not have been used, scratched, marked, damaged or altered;
  • it should be returned securely packaged;
  • original packaging should be used where reasonably possible.

The customer is normally responsible for the cost of returning a standard product where the return is simply because they have changed their mind.

We recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured return service.

11. Protective Film and Returned Products

Our acrylic products are normally supplied with protective film to protect the surface during manufacture, handling and transport.

Please check the dimensions, thickness and general suitability of the stand before removing the protective film.

Once protective film has been removed, the acrylic surface is exposed to fingerprints, dust and scratches and the product can normally no longer be resold by us as a new item.

For this reason, products returned under our additional 30-day change-of-mind policy must have the original protective film intact.

For statutory cancellation rights, consumers may inspect goods in a similar way to how they could reasonably inspect them in a shop. Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods and reduces their value, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

12. Refunds for Change-of-Mind Returns

Once an eligible returned product has been received, we will inspect it.

Where the return meets the applicable conditions, we will issue the appropriate refund using the original payment method unless another method has been agreed.

For statutory cancellations, refunds will be made in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction where the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect them.

13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Our change-of-mind return conditions do not restrict your legal rights.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumer goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described. UK consumers also have statutory remedies when goods do not conform to the contract.

If your product:

  • arrives damaged;
  • is faulty;
  • is incorrect;
  • is not as described; or
  • does not materially match an agreed bespoke specification,

please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide your order details and, where useful, photographs showing the problem.

The Consumer Rights Act provides a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days in applicable circumstances, with other remedies such as repair or replacement potentially applying afterwards.

Where goods are validly rejected because they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, your statutory rights apply regardless of whether the protective film has been removed.

Where required by law, we will also bear reasonable costs associated with returning faulty or non-conforming goods.

14. Delivery

Please ensure that the delivery address entered when ordering is complete and correct.

Current delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges are displayed on our Shipping & Returns Policy page.

Where we arrange the carrier, responsibility for the goods normally remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you.

If a parcel appears to be lost, arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, please contact us so that we can investigate.

15. Delivery Delays

Occasionally manufacture or delivery may be delayed by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;
  • carrier disruption;
  • industrial action;
  • power failure;
  • machinery breakdown;
  • material shortages;
  • other exceptional circumstances.

Where a significant delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its effect and, where appropriate, keep you informed.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory rights relating to late or failed delivery.

16. Product Use and Safety

HOVERSTAND® products should be:

  • placed on a stable and suitable surface;
  • used within their stated specifications;
  • loaded in a stable and sensible manner;
  • kept within the stated maximum load.

Customers should consider the size, weight, balance and centre of gravity of any object placed on a stand.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, deliberate overloading, unstable placement, modification of the product or use contrary to the product information supplied.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

17. Intellectual Property
